The role:
Oribe Hair Care is looking for an enthusiastic Digital & Social Media Intern reporting to the Assistant Manager, Global Digital & Marketing Strategy. You will work with cross-functional teams within the company and external partners/accounts/vendors. You should be fashion-minded, entrepreneurial, extremely detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
What you will do:
- Assist the digital marketing team with daily functions.
- Work with Global Marketing team to help execute the digital strategy and guidelines for distributor and international markets.
- Monitor digital and social trends, competitive landscape to identify opportunities and present new ideas for digital campaigns and content.
- Collaborate with Digital & Social Coordinator in building the social media content calendar and daily community management.
- Assist in preparation for key meetings, including creating and editing presentations.
- Assist in the execution of digital and traditional marketing initiatives and strategies.
- Facilitate product orders.
- Coordinate messenger and shipping needs.
- Administrative support.
What you will need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program
- Previous work/internship experience
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately while working toward multiple deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
- Proficiency in Word, Excel (can perform complex functions) , and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in social platforms including Facebook/Instagram, Google/YouTube, and experience with latest platforms
- Aware of trends in the digital marketing field (email, video, web, social, e-commerce)
- Graphic design programs and Google Analytics experience
A reasonable pay range for this position is 18/hr.
