Job Summary
Supporting the school campus by maintaining facilities in good condition by minor repairs and facilities improvement projects as assigned. Conduct all work with a focus on ensuring student safety. Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout assigned property. Picks up trash and empties trash containers. Performs light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
Duties
- Be a role model; uphold school vision of nurture, character, discipline, and academic excellence.
- Oversee campus maintenance projects as assigned.
- Work to ensure campus repairs and maintenance are completed to high quality standards.
- Track maintenance supplies and follow supply order process as assigned.
- Be proactive in maintaining facilities to ensure student and staff safety.
- Report security concerns to administrators immediately.
- Follow district procedures and attend all staff meetings as assigned.
- Grounds maintenance as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Experience:
- Maintenance experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
