Position Summary:
Arts & Science is seeking a talented Program Administrator to join the Department of Environmental Studies. This individual will manage daily operations, including supervising student workers and administering office policies and procedures, for the Center for Mind, Ethics, and Policy (CMEP), the Center for Environmental and Animal Protection (CEAP), and the Wild Animal Welfare Program (WAW). Monitor budgets; coordinate logistics for internal and external events, seminars and meetings; design and produce promotional materials; and oversee center communications with faculty, vendors, stakeholders, and attendees. Manage recruitment activities for contractors, researchers, and student workers.

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience in operations or business management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
1+ years Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, NYU software and systems, including iBuy, Concur, and UDW+. Familiarity with and interest in scientific, ethical, and political issues concerning the environment, nonhuman animals, and AI systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills, robust analytical and computational skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once and to adjust efforts dynamically among shifting and competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, communicate, and resolve problems. Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Sites.
Additional Information:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
