Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and guests. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Duties:
- Perform a variety of custodial tasks, including cleaning floors, dusting, and emptying trash cans.
- Clean and maintain all facilities, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Use specialized equipment such as buffing machines to maintain the appearance of floors.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are properly stocked and organized.
- Clean and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
- Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture and equipment.
- Participate in commercial and industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
- Keep all facilities clean and organized, including restrooms and break rooms.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Skills:
- Experience with custodial work or facilities maintenance.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks.
- Experience with industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks, including buffing and cleaning.
- Experience with residential painting or experience with painting in a commercial setting.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment, including restrooms and break rooms.
- Knowledge of porter duties and ability to assist with moving furniture and equipment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,050.00 per month
