Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Project Coordinator to oversee and manage specialized cleaning projects. These projects will include stripping & waxing floors, carpet cleaning, tile restoration, high dusting, concrete floor sealing, warehouse detailing, spring cleanings, and window washing. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Manage a variety of cleaning projects such as floor care (stripping and waxing), deep carpet cleaning, high dusting, tile and grout restoration, concrete sealing, and more.
- Maintain a project work calendar, ensuring that each project is properly scheduled, staffed, and equipped.
- Coordinate logistics, such as renting equipment or securing necessary materials, and handle hotel reservations for out-of-town crews.
- Work closely with supervisors, sales team, and/or clients to understand the needs, set timelines, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Subcontractor Management:
- Oversee subcontractors performing both project work and routine contract cleaning. Ensure that subcontractors follow company standards and complete tasks on time.
- Work with HR liaison with subcontractor hiring, including replacing underperforming subcontractors and onboarding new ones.
- Handle customer complaints and issues related to subcontractor performance, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure that subcontractors complete and submit any required inspections or quality reports for their work.
- Conduct regular quality checks on subcontractors to guarantee that high cleaning standards are maintained.
- Customer Communication:
- Ensure seamless communication between customers, supervisors, and janitorial crews for smooth operations.
- Work Ticket Management:
- Create and update work tickets to reflect tasks, labor hours, and project costs.
- Process tickets using both internal and customer systems, ensuring all information is accurate and reported.
Qualifications:
- Janitorial Expertise: Solid experience in commercial cleaning, specifically in stripping & waxing floors, carpet cleaning, tile restoration, and other specialty cleaning tasks.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring projects run on time and within budget.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of janitorial projects and the specific techniques, equipment, and manpower required for tasks like floor care, high dusting, and window washing.
- Ability to schedule and coordinate large cleaning teams, ensuring proper resource allocation and project execution.
- Strong attention to detail for tracking labor hours, costs, and work ticket accuracy.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
