Colorado Academy is looking for a talented and skilled member for the custodial department. The successful candidate will be an energetic person with a positive attitude who can work well with others and contribute to the department’s goal of high-quality care of campus facilities.
This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit eligible position that reports directly to the Custodial Supervisor. This is a non-exempt/hourly position. Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain campus buildings in exceptional condition, includes surface cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Clean classrooms, offices, bathrooms and common areas as directed by Head Custodian
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Identify and report possible repairs
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Help with special event set- up
- Monitor building safety and security
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Work overtime when necessary
- Work occasional weekends
- Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instruction
The pay range for the position is $18.00- $19.00 per hour. Although $18.00 - $19.00 per hour is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex, gender or gender identity, but relates solely to a seniority system, a merit system, or relevant education, training and/or experience.
