This role will work primarily with one family. MUST be able to pass an in depth background check. Spanish not required but highly recommended!! Really looking for someone who is looking to make some extra pocket money. Formal education not required but highly recommended.
Must have general knowledge of cleaning including how to maintain hardwood floors, dusting, making beds, washing linen, wiping and disinfecting surfaces.
All cleaning supplies will be provided by client
Duties and Requirement:
Must have reliable transportation!
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Launder and iron clothes and linens
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience
- Previous experience in residential or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners
- Familiarity with sanitizing procedures and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Skills:
- Cook: Ability to prepare meals for residents or guests, if required
- Residential cleaning: Experience in cleaning private homes or apartments
- Hotel: Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures
- Carpet cleaning: Proficiency in using carpet cleaning equipment and products
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in cleaning commercial buildings or offices
- Launder: Ability to wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linens
- Sanitate: Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and procedures
- Custodial: Understanding of custodial duties such as maintaining cleanliness in public spaces
- Customer service: Ability to interact with residents or guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Housekeeping management: Experience in supervising or managing a team of housekeepers
