AKA Hotels+Hotel Residences is hiring for Room Attendant for Hotel AKA Washington Circle!

Team Member Responsibilities:

Cleans resident rooms and guest areas, including, but not limited to; stripping/making beds; removing garbage; dusting and vacuuming; cleaning bathrooms; replenishing supplies; cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios (where applicable).
Inventories condition of rooms and communicates to immediate Supervisor and/or designated team member any damage caused by the guest or reports items that need to be repaired.
Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets.
Consistently maintains the same AKA standards and presentation of the guest rooms.
Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to supervisor.
Maintains a stocked and organized cart while maintaining tools and equipment clean and orderly.
Brings Lost and Found items to Supervisor/Manager to be logged in the Lost & Found system.
Communicates with residents and Team Members in a professional and friendly manner in compliance with AKA service standards.
Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills:

Demonstrated energetic, self-motivated with a “can do” positive attitude.
Proficiency in English (written and oral) preferred.
Preferred background in Housekeeping.

Required Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent.
Flexibility with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Meticulous attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Able to push/pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours.
Able to work with chemicals.
