Looking for an experienced Motivated and Detail-Oriented janitor to perform deep cleaning of residential facilities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to not only work within these guidelines but will also be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks at any given time. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are looking for individuals who are hard working, reliable, team player, honest and detail oriented.

If you have experience as a janitor in a hospital setting, you will thrive in this role. It is fast-paced.

General Responsibilities and Essential Job Duties:

General cleaning and up-keep of assigned facilities both inside and outside of the building(s)
General cleaning of dorm rooms, common spaces, offices, restrooms, shower rooms and public spaces
Sweeping and mopping floors, and vacuuming carpets.
Deep Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms including showers, toilets, sinks and restocking disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
Sweep front walkways
Dust furniture, walls, picture frames, equipment and blinds
Removes and properly disposes of all waste.
Must always conduct themselves in a professional manner on and around job locations, and while in uniform
May perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred:

5 years + work experience as janitor or similar role.
Knowledge of use and maintenance of commercial cleaning equipment and appliances.
Knowledge of all applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, including JCAHO, state, and federal and local regulations and guidelines (i.e. OSHA, HAZMAT , DOH, EPA)
Employee(s) must be capable of performing any and all of the listed duties individually and independently.

Work cooperatively with a group of people to achieve goals and objectives.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
This position is considered essential personnel for emergency situations, including inclement weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry trash or other material loads weighing up to 30 pounds intermittently and 20 pounds above the shoulders; ability to stand, walk, squat and perform physical duties for 8-hour shifts and be able to work with cleaning chemicals.
Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, City Health Department, etc.
Daily exposure to dust, dirt, cleaning detergents and chemicals, odors, body fluids and waste, weather and temperature changes.
