PURPOSE/SCOPE: Cleaning and setting up the church facilities and properties for use.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: Responsible to the Facility Manager, to provide routine cleaning and maintenance at Cherrydale Baptist Church, ensuring indoor and outdoor facilities are clean and that rooms and facilities are appropriately set-up and ready for services, classes, and events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to work unsupervised for periods of time once duties are assigned
- Opportunity to attend church worship service is encouraged
- No experience required, but full training will be provided
- Primary workdays are Saturdays and Sundays
- Weekday schedule TBD
DUTIES:
- Performs routine, manual work cleaning and maintaining buildings, grounds, and surrounding areas
- Performs recurring tasks in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules
- Responsible for ensuring building is clean, (un)locking doors, setting up and breaking down rooms and facilities, performing minor maintenance and repairs, picking up trash, changing light bulbs and distributing supplies
- Meet with Facility Manager weekly to update the cleaning schedule and event set ups
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify Facility Manager when not able to do so
- Performs related work as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
