JOB SUMMARY:
To perform all duties of the room attendant and assist in supervision of room attendants, inspection of rooms and room attendant training in order to maintain the aesthetic upkeep of the Hotel Wailea.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- VIP rooms completed and inspected prior to guest arrival.
- Priority service for VIP stay-over guests should be cleaned as early as possible.
- At least 4 inspections on each turn down. VIP turn downs by 8pm.
- Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms and all other hotel premises to maintain required quality standards for the hotel.
- Quality control inspections daily based off of Room Attendant checklists. Specifically and systematically, note the conditions of the front entrance area to the room, the kitchenette, living room area, lanai space, bedroom, closet, bathroom, toilet and vanity area.
- Check and maintain order in the linen room.
- Perform inventory of all items within the department.
- Assists in the preparation of work schedules and room assignments according to the hotel occupancy.
- Distribute keys and work sheets to employees.
