Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures, and sanitizing surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and maintain floors using appropriate equipment and techniques, including buffing and waxing
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment used for custodial tasks
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with setting up and tearing down for events or meetings as needed
Skills:
- Experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and procedures, including buffing and waxing
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other staff members
