Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is currently hiring Hydro blast Operators to join our team. The Hydro blast Operator is to safely operate extremely high-pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems (pipes, boilers, tanks, etc.) and operate industrial vacuum units.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of by local, state, and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Safely operate extremely high-pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems.
- Properly prepares equipment and worksite daily. Arrive at the office or job site on time, in uniform, properly groomed, and ready to work.
- Follow GEIR safety standards.
- Participate in practical and manual activities daily.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Clean equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
- Effectively communicate with the Crew Lead or Field Supervisor on areas such as safety, quality, and integrity.
- Perform other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
- Prior experience in the industry is required.
- Required to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, and hot, wet, cold, and foul-smelling environments during an 8–12-hour shift while holding various sizes of vacuum hoses.
- Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be clean-shaven.
- Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. May be called out for an Emergency response.
- Preferred 2-4 years of hands-on experience and operation with tools / heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform duties by training and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to physically control industrial hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills preferred.
- A clean driving record is required for this position.
PAY:
- $18-$24/hour (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
