Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is currently hiring Industrial Cleaning Field Technicians to join our team. The Industrial Cleaning Field Technician is responsible for the operation of equipment/tools to provide industrial and/or environmental cleaning.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of by local, state, and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Arrive at the office or job site on time, in uniform, properly groomed, and ready to work.
- Set up job site, for vacuum truck and other environmental services, including equipment, tools, barricade tape, and tags.
- Clean equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
- Follow GEIR safety standards.
- Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in the industry is a plus.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
- Required to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, and hot, wet, cold, and foul-smelling environments during an 8–12-hour shift while holding various sizes of vacuum hoses.
- Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be clean-shaven.
- Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. May be called out for an Emergency response.
- Preferred 1 year of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment.
- A clean driving record is required for this position.
PAY:
- $16-$19/hour (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
