Job Summary
To be a successful Lead at Pressed Roots, you must have strong leadership skills and have
high emotional intelligence. Assistant studio managers at Pressed Roots work closely with their
managers to empower their team members, maintain a professional yet fun environment, while
providing high-quality customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Consistently greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Supervise, train and assist employees in partnership with the Studio Manager and
Training Department
- Maintain proper inventory levels
- Lead the Front Desk team and all the responsibilities within the team in partnership with
the managers
- Manage all issues that arise from customers (complaints, grievances etc) in partnership
with the Managers
- Coach and Report all issues that arise from staff
- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance at all times

- Support the managers in all tasks/duties
- Daily recap email sent to management
- Allow new hires to shadow you and provide feedback and guidance as needed
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
- including but not limited to: Helping stylists clean their tools in between appointments,
sweeping up stations, training new front desk staff employees in partnership with the
Studio Manager
- Maintain the appearance of the studio
○ This includes but is not limited to cleaning blow dryer filters, trays, etc

customer scenarios

- Arrive to work before at the time of your scheduled shift - fully prepared to work the
entire shift
- Have a basic understanding and knowledge of Google Workspace
- Behave in a professional manner (No screaming, shoving, fighting, gossiping)
- Maintain salon - Including but not limited to: sweeping, cleaning, laundry, dishes, making
sure there are paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
- Meet productivity standards

- Competency in learning booking systems/softwares
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
Requirements
- 1 + years experience as a front desk coordinator, 1+ training/mentorship, or assistant manager in a customer service-related field
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills
- 3+ years in customer service or people relations
- Powerful leading skills and business orientation

Essential Functions
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as handling scheduling software or interacting with clients
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel to assist customers, and/or maintain Studio cleanliness
