Job Summary: As a Houseperson you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the cleanliness and upkeep of Inn rooms by stripping out linens and keeping within the hotels standards of cleanliness. You will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, damaged property, or any lost and found items, as well as maintaining security of all guest units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Remove all garbage/recycling from all offices and Housekeeping rooms.
- Cleaning and maintaining all mirrors and entrance doors.
- Cleaning any spots on carpets, report any large spots for shampooing.
- Laundering of public areas linen
- Stripping guest rooms of linen
- Maintaining records of room cleanings
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Observe and report any damage of hotel property.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Previous in-person customer experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a related hospitality position preferred.
