We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning machines and production areas, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to providing excellent service.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform cleaning duties in a manufacturing setting, including sweeping, sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled hours.
*Requirements*
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations and loud noises. All safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.95 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
