Job Summary:The Common Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness of all common guest areas, including the lobby, elevators, floor hallways, glass doors/windows, stairwells, concierge lounge, and bathrooms, in adherence to company standards. Additionally, this role extends its responsibilities to maintaining the cleanliness of surrounding areas such as the Spa, while providing assistance in the upkeep of the Pool Deck.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain lobby, public spaces, and windows
- Sanitize hotel and employee restrooms, restock items
- Ensure cleanliness behind front desk and back offices
- Promptly empty trash cans throughout the premises
- Monitor and restock amenities in designated areas
- Keep exterior free of trash and debris
- Organize and clean conference rooms
- Maintain cleanliness in the employee break room
- Thoroughly clean spa facilities, restrooms, showers, and treatment rooms
- Greet guests courteously
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies
- Refill dispensers (hand towels, toilet paper, hand soap)
- Assist in stocking housekeeping supply rooms
- Report damages or repairs promptly
- Document and report lost and found items to Housekeeping Manager
- Perform other assigned duties
Education and Experience:
- Adequate education and literacy skills for product label identification and communication with guests regarding job-related needs.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and basic communication in English is preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
