We are seeking an experienced housekeeper for a family of four for their 7,000 square foot home in the Belcaro neighborhood of Denver. The family values professionalism, communication, organization, a high standard of cleanliness, and simultaneously a laid back demeanor.
Role and Responsibilities:
- General Housekeeping:
— Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the main residence and guest areas.
— Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
— Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
— Make beds, change linens, and perform laundry duties, including ironing and wardrobe management.
— Take out trash and recycling.
- Specialized Cleaning:
— Care for high-end surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings with appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
— Polishing silver, brass, and other special materials as needed.
- Organizational Tasks:
— Maintain household organization, including closets, pantries, and storage areas.
— Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and household items, helping to ensure they are restocked as needed.
- Collaborative Duties:
— Work closely with the house manager to ensure the smooth operation of the household.
— Communicate effectively with the house manager to report any issues or needs within the home, including helping the house manager with maintaining the inventory for cleaning supplies and paper goods.
— Assist with special projects or events as directed by the house manager or principles.
- Additional Duties:
— Drop off and pick up dry cleaning.
— Assist with walks or care for small, very lovable dog on occasion.
— On a rare occasion assist with errands or childcare if the house manager is unavailable.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private residence.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
- Knowledge of proper care and maintenance for luxury homes, furnishings, and finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Discreet and respectful of the family‘s privacy and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to adapt to the family’s schedule and needs.

Compensation: $22-$28/hr
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:30 - 5:30, Friday 9:30 - 12:30
