River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a full-time Club Houseman to our Housekeeping Department. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worths oldest and most storied country club.

JOB SUMMARY: The Club Houseman is responsible for cleaning all Club areas and reporting any damage or maintenance problems to the Facility Director. In addition, they will be utilized in Building Maintenance as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Good Member relations skills are required
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
- Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
- Must have timely, reliable attendance.
- Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors
- A high school education or equivalent is required
- Prior experience in floor maintenance and carpet cleaning is a plus
- Prior light maintenance experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS:
- Cleans indoor furniture to include, but not limited to:
- Dusting
- Disinfecting telephones
- Cleans bathrooms to include, but not limited to:
- Toilets
- Sinks and counters
- Showers
- Mirrors
- Cleans floors and carpets to include, but not limited to:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Carpet Cleaning
- Use of buffer for polishing stone floors
- Sweeps patio area(s) and employee entrance hallway.
- Replace burned out light bulbs.
- Light plumbing maintenance includes plunging toilets and replacing batteries in automatic flush devices.
- Empties wastebaskets throughout the Club
- Reports maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance department, including, but not limited to:
- Property damage
- Plumbing problems
- Complete other duties as assigned or directed.
- Determines when damage and maintenance issues need to be reported to department heads; and prioritizes work areas to be completed.
- Assist maintenance break down large events as time permits.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Required to stand for extended periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Must be able to work with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things.
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs
