The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the building. This role ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, contributing to a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

- Employment:
- Work week is Monday through Friday.
- Schedule determined by supervisor.
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean carpets and upholstery as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are hygienic.
- Empty trash and recycling bins; dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Facility Upkeep
- Perform routine checks and minor repairs on facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure all areas are secure and locked as required.
- Assist in maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Report shortages.
- Maintain stock levels.
- Check expiration dates.
- Health and Safety
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent service to all staff, patients, and visitors.
- Respond to specific cleaning requests or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
