Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, walls, and surfaces
- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
- Conduct thorough deep cleaning of high-traffic areas and equipment
- Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture, lifting heavy objects, and delivering supplies
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including buffing and polishing of floors and surfaces
- Keep facilities in good condition by performing regular maintenance tasks, including painting and repairing walls and surfaces
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- General Maintenance quarterly inspection, work orders, plumbing, AC (ability to check system not fix), painting, check multiple units, check hot water tank (no repairs)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques
- Physical stamina to perform heavy cleaning tasks
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization

Pay: $12.88 - $13.47 per hour
