BECOME AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER SUPERVISOR!
The Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor is responsible for supervising the cleaning of the aircraft interiors to ensure they adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards. This role involves leading and managing a team of aircraft cleaners, offering training and support as needed. The Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor is also responsible for inspecting aircraft post-cleaning to ensure the quality of work meets airline and regulatory guidelines. Additional duties include managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, coordinating with airline staff, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed on schedule.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER SUPERVISOR
- Manage a team of aircraft cleaners
- Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment
- Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
- Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocks
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtime
- Liaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirements
- Handle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policies
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team members
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations as required
- Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution
- Cleaning side by side with team to ensure aircraft cleaning tasks are completed
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules
- Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning team
- Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
- Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
- Must be able to push, pull
- Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
- Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals
- Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
- Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces
- Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
- Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
- Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
