Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment across our facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer service, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, including restocking toilet paper and soap
- Clean and dust surfaces, including furniture and fixtures
- Maintain a clean and organized break room and common areas
- Use industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and scrubbers
- Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform porter duties, including transporting trash and supplies
- Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Ensure all areas are clean and free of debris and obstructions
- Follow all safety and health regulations
- Report any issues or concerns to management
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Experience in custodial or facilities maintenance
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
- Experience with residential painting is a plus
- Experience with facilities maintenance is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,050.00 per month
