Company Description
A HNW couple in Santa Ynez is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to add to their estate staff. This role will report to the House Manager and will assist in planning and carrying out many household upkeep duties.
The qualified candidate must have prior experience within a private estate or luxury hotel and always exhibit utmost confidentiality, have a sense of urgency, and demonstrate a culture of service.
This job requires total teamwork and mutual support. The qualified housekeeper will be flexible with their hours and schedule and understand that scheduling needs may change on a regular basis, based on the needs of the Principals. The schedule will be Thursday to Monday, with the flexibility to work holidays as needed.
Job Description
- Perform overall upkeep of an extensive private estate applying a white glove experience Clean the home
- - including floors, windows, furniture, changing bed linens, kitchen, etc. Process laundry
- - including washing, folding, hanging, and ironing fine bed linens
- Organize closets and cupboards
- Follow determined protocols, systems, and task schedules
- Assist with events held at the home
- Collaborate with the teams from their other homes
Qualifications
- Proven success of upkeep and cleaning of a large household, working within a team of household staff
- Ability to learn quickly and pay close attention to detail
- A respectful, careful nature while working with the valuable belongings of the homeowner in the process of service.
- Experience performing job duties effectively and efficiently
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize efficiently
- A neat, professional, and conservative appearance
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Comfort in a role that requires physical activity, such as lifting, standing, bending, and moving heavy objects
- Strong preference for those local to the Santa Ynez, Lompoc or Santa Barbara area
- Covid vaccination may be required
- Strong references required
- This role requires a full background check, spotless driving record, and eligibility to work in the United States
Pay Rate: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour and includes full benefits, medical, dental, vision, 401k and 401k match. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
