Job Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor at Riviera Country Club will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for our members and guests. This role involves supervising the housekeeping staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring that all areas of the club meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the club facilities.
· Coordinate activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations.
· Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues or deficiencies.
· Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and club policies.
· Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
· Implement and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
· Address and resolve any member complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for members and guests.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
· Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs and supplies.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/ GED required.
· Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting.
· Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, procedures, and cleaning products.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
