As a Floor Cleaning Technician and ServiceMaster Service Partner, you will support a team that works together to deliver the best solutions and customer service to our clients.
You will be responsible for the comprehensive cleaning, maintenance, and repair of a variety of floor surfaces including, carpet, wood, laminate, vinyl, rubber, and more. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Subcontract Requirements:
- Performing all floor cleaning and maintenance tasks for various clients including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, polishing, buffing, and spot cleaning.
- Moving furniture to ensure complete surface cleaning.
- Operating a variety of floor care equipment and machinery.
- Maintaining an ample inventory of your own supplies.
- Ensure your equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Successful subcontractors will demonstrate a thorough understanding of various floor care techniques, including identifying different flooring types. You will be required to have, use, and maintain your own equipment, tools, and supplies.
This contract requires a high level of expertise and self-sufficiency, as no training will be provided. The ideal subcontractor is expected to bring professional-grade skills and equipment to the job, ensuring top-quality results.
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 55lbs.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a floor technician.
- The ability to take on work with varying schedules at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
