Do you love the look of a clean space? We’re looking for an experienced janitor and maintenance professional to fill a position on our team. You’ll keep our building impeccably clean, handling daily upkeep and tasks, and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as needed. Compensation:
$18 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Replace light bulbs, clean mirrors and windows, ensure cleanliness and supply of restrooms on a regular basis
- Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, deep cleaning floors, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture and fixtures, and emptying trash
- Maintain the cleanliness of certain kitchen equipment as directed by the sous chef
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
- Maintain the presentation and safety of exterior decor and pathways
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify management of major repairs required
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- In good physical condition with excellent health
- Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
- Prior experience with facility maintenance required
