A housekeeping room attendant is responsible for the cleaning and stocking of hotel guest rooms with the appropriate supplies. The room attendant is responsible for changing the linens and towels, making beds, scrubbing the bathroom, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing windows, mirrors and walls, removing trash, placing of amenities, etc. In addition:
- Must make sure the television, telephone, heating/air conditioner and lights are working
- Must report any problems to the housekeeping supervisor immediately
- Must respond to and resolve housekeeping requests and complaints by guests in a timely manner
- Must practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety and emergency procedures
- All other duties as assigned
