Position Title: Complex Retail Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Complex Retail Supervisor to oversee our multi-department retail operations. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can manage day-to-day store activities, ensure optimal customer service, and drive sales across various departments. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling complex retail environments, coordinating with multiple teams, and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily store operations across multiple departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, shrinkage prevention, and product displays.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and organization to provide a welcoming shopping environment.
Customer Service and Sales
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Coordinate promotional activities, special events, and seasonal displays to drive traffic and sales.
- Utilize customer feedback and market trends to inform business decisions and improve service offerings.
Financial Management
- Track and report on key financial metrics, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.

- Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Greet customers and assist with their inquiries, including finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point of sale or other software/hardware.
- Maintain a clean and organized store by performing tasks such as stocking shelves, straightening merchandise, and cleaning displays and surfaces.
- Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with inventory counts, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Meet or exceed sales goals by promoting and upselling products, as well as providing excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and supporting other team members as needed.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
Preferred Qualifications: Specify preferred specialized education, field and/or certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable with basic math and the use of electronic devices, such as cash registers and scanners.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders to reach products or displays.
