- Sunday 6:45am - 11:15pm, Monday - Wednesday 2:45pm - 11:15pm
- Wednesday - Friday 2:45pm - 11:15pm, Saturday 6:45am - 11:15pm
- Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm, Saturday 6:45am-11:15pm, and Sunday 6:45am -11:15pm.
- Overnights 10:45pm - 7:15am Thursday and Friday off
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00/hour

Position Overview: The Direct Support Professional Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of Direct Support Professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. This role involves providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to the team, coordinating client care, facilitating staff training and development, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies. With strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of others, the DSP Lead plays a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Master's all skills and competencies of Direct Support Professional 2 Driver (DSP)
- Successfully complete Driving and Vehicle Safety class and obtain approval to operate large capacity vehicles (10-12 passenger vans and wheelchair busses)
- Coordinates transportation of clients to ADT and outings, including driving Quest vans/buses when needed.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed by DSPs while providing support, and feedback regarding performance.
- Completes cleaning and ensures DSPs follow cleaning schedules for each shift.
- Assists Staffing Coordinator with training, onboarding, and performance evaluations of DSPs.
- Completes monthly safety tasks as assigned.
- Restocks direct care supplies and ensures proper usage of supplies.
- Assist QIDPs with the maintenance of personal inventory, programming, and therapeutic equipment of persons served.
- Assist QIDPs with collection and calculation of monthly datasheets, replace data sheets as assigned.
- Attends and participates in training and meetings.
- Flexibility in schedule to work during inclement weather to ensure client ratios are met.
- Report all incidents of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Florida Driver’s License in good standing.
- Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship.
- Read, write, and comprehend English required.
- Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
- Perform physical requirements associated with transferring/positioning individuals, implementing of behavioral crisis management, and lifting/carrying up to 50lbs.
