Janitor (THIS OFFICE IS IN FORNEY TX )
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that all facilities are in good condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, porter duties, buffing, facilities maintenance, industrial cleaning, floor care, commercial cleaning, and custodial tasks.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Perform minor repairs and notify management of any maintenance issues
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work. Also residential and commercial property.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors
- Must have a vehicle to drive to client's locations.
- Must have availblility from tues-Saturdays from 8am-10pm.
