Required: Experience in Janitorial Operations Management in a commercial setting.
Job Description:
Janitorial Assistant Operations Manager (On-Site) shall ensure that the Janitorial Department at MCO Orlando International Airport, operates in an efficient manner including but not limited to managing operations-related responsibilities such as working hands-on with the employees in cleaning the facilities assigned such as mopping the floors, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, etc.; must have strong leaderships skills and knows how to designate work assignments to each employee fairly; knowledgeable on work-scheduling, timekeeping, payroll; can handle employee issues in a professional and timely manner, following the correct disciplinary procedure; must be a problem solver with analytical thinking, coachable, and must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The on-site assistant manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the public, employees, facilities, and equipment's safety while managing the operation.
- The Assistant Operations Manager must see to it that the team has complete attendance and must report immediately any tardiness or absences to Admin.
- Daily timekeeping verifications and approval at the end of pay period.
- Paid-Time-Off schedule and approval.
- Preparing employees work schedule.
- Daily submission of reports before the end of day must be completed and submitted.
- Provide excellent customer service experience to both the public and especially the client.
- Communicate effectively (fluent in English and Spanish is an advantage) with the employees and the upper management.
- Conduct inventory of supplies.
- Able to do ad hoc tasks.
