Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the housekeeping operations of a hospitality or hotel establishment
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of housekeeping staff
- Ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Address guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of custodial and commercial cleaning practices
- Familiarity with laundering procedures and equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
