Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:

The dishwasher’s duties are to efficiently wash all FOH and BOH dishes and ensure that all equipment used to prepare, store, and serve food is clean and sanitary.

Principal duties/responsibilities:
Clean all prep, cooking, and customer dishes as they are used
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of dish area
Empty and re-line kitchen trash cans when full
Keep clean dishes and dish storage items clean and organized
Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stocked and stored properly.
Complete all tasks on closing checklist
Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
Extra cleaning projects (Hood grates, deep clean areas)
Help with prep cooking
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or ownership

Additional Remarks:

This position requires the ability to work efficiently and stay on task with minimum supervision.
