- Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:
The dishwasher’s duties are to efficiently wash all FOH and BOH dishes and ensure that all equipment used to prepare, store, and serve food is clean and sanitary.
- Principal duties/responsibilities:
- Clean all prep, cooking, and customer dishes as they are used
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of dish area
- Empty and re-line kitchen trash cans when full
- Keep clean dishes and dish storage items clean and organized
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stocked and stored properly.
- Complete all tasks on closing checklist
- Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
- Extra cleaning projects (Hood grates, deep clean areas)
- Help with prep cooking
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or ownership
Additional Remarks:
This position requires the ability to work efficiently and stay on task with minimum supervision.
