Apartment Housekeeping
Position Overview:
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of building exteriors and the curb appeal of the community by maintaining the highest levels of visual presentation. This includes maintaining the amenities, leasing office, models, breezeways and common areas. Responsible to clean units at move out in a timely manner and high standards.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Clean the office, clubroom, amenities and restrooms on a daily basis
- Clean and maintain models on a daily basis
- Clean all vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager or Assistant Manager
- Keep all vacant units fresh and odorless
- Inform management of supply needs on a regular basis
- Learn and comply with all safety rules and must be willing to report safety violations to appropriate management personnel
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- May include cross-training in other functions or areas to ensure satisfactory operation of work area
- Perform other duties outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
- Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies.
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Responsible for knowledge of management company and community policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment and supplies owned by the community and or management company

- Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, paint fumes, solvents, adhesives (1% - 33% of the time)

- Observe and assist maintenance, observe problems throughout property
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or 6 months to a year related experience or training preferred but not required. English preferred (bilingual a plus)
