Job Description:
Are you passionate about making clothes look their absolute best? Join our team in the Wash & Fold program! Starting at 6 PM, you’ll wash, dry, fold, and bag laundry for next-day pickup—simple, straightforward, and rewarding. This evening role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy a peaceful, behind-the-scenes environment and take pride in a job well done.

- Pay Per Pound: Earn based on the amount of laundry you complete. The more efficiently you work, the more you can earn per hour!
- All-Around Responsibilities: While Wash & Fold will be your main focus, we’re looking for a well-rounded team member who can help maintain our clean, welcoming environment. In addition to handling laundry, you’ll also be responsible for:
- Wiping down machines and dryer gaskets
- Clearing and cleaning lint trays/screens
- Tidying and disinfecting folding tables and counters
- Cleaning and restocking the bathroom
- Sweeping, mopping, and completing end-of-day closing tasks
- Spotless Environment: We are committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. We're looking for someone who not only excels in the Wash & Fold process but also takes ownership in maintaining a spotless, inviting environment throughout the entire laundromat.
- Closing Responsibilities: As the last shift of the day, you’ll ensure the laundromat is spotless and ready to open in pristine condition the next morning.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior commercial laundry experience is a plus! Experience in a laundromat, hotel, hospital, or similar setting is beneficial, but we’re open to training those with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry machines and equipment is helpful.
- Ability to follow specific washing and folding guidelines to ensure quality.

- Patience and Flexibility: As our program ramps up, the workload will gradually increase. While the early days might have fewer orders, we expect higher volumes as we grow and establish regular customers. The ability to be flexible with your time and energy during this ramp-up phase is key.
- Reliability & Punctuality: This is crucial. We’re looking for dependable team members who show up on time and communicate proactively. Consistent attendance is essential, especially as the program builds momentum and we work toward creating a strong customer base.
- Passion for the Work: We offer competitive pay and are looking for candidates who are genuinely passionate about laundry and take pride in their work. This role is ideal for those who find satisfaction in the work itself, beyond just financial motivation. While we value hard work and dedication, if your primary goal is financial, this position might not be the best fit for you.

If you're unable to make a shift or need assistance, we expect you to communicate in advance so we can work together to make adjustments.
