Job Description
Housekeeping/Janitorial
Under the direct supervision of the Building Engineer, the housekeeping/janitorial staff will:
LOBBY
- Sweep & damp mop lobby daily (including the area going to the valet and main garage) and sweep down carpeted stairs daily
- Polish and clean all elevators daily:
- Clean behind security desk and mail room area daily
- Check Leather furniture for spots and/or dust – wipe with damp cloth, as needed
- Use window cleaner on all glass top surfaces daily
- Clean interior & exterior Windows in Lobby
- Empty trash bins daily
- Spray disinfectant on high-touch surfaces
- Clean workers bathroom
- Dust artificial plants when needed
VALET AREA
- Hose down Valet area as needed (minimum 1X per week)
- Clean Spider webs from Light Fixtures
LOADING DOCK & COMPACTOR ROOM
- Hose down & disinfect Compactor room floors daily
- Clean Compactor and disinfect once a week, or more as needed
- Spray trash chute from OS Floor to bottom once a week
MAIN FLOORS OF TOWER (17th FL to OS (29th) FL
- Sweep & Mop the floor from OS FL to 17th FL daily at least 3 times a week and the elevator lobby on each floor daily
- Mop floor of Refuse room, wash down walls, as needed
- Sweep & Mop Hallways from OS FL to 17th FL, as needed (minimum 1X per week)
- Wipe down trash chute door daily
- Clean Exterior Windows on South side of Building and clean, as needed
- Check windows for spots and clean, as needed
Requirements
The candidate should possess:
- 2+ years demonstrated experience in the field of commercial building operations
- Must be able to work in a team environment and must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to deal professionally with building residents/guests and vendors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
