We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper Supervisor at
Hendricks Behavioral Hospital (HBH). In this role, you will be responsible for providing supervisory support and assists the housekeepers in daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
- Provide adequate supervision to housekeeping staff, ensuring proper training is received by all staff.
- Maintain adequate schedules for all housekeeping staff.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, and public areas.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep, and take out trash.
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility.
- Clean areas with disinfectants.
- Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
- Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient’s access when in use.
- Assist the Manager of Facility Operations in other duties assigned.
- Assist other departmental staff, as requested.
Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For
- Education: High school diploma preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in housekeeping field, with at least one (1) year prior experience in lead housekeeping personnel, preferred
- Additional Skill Requirements: Crisis prevention/management training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Compensation
This is a full-time role. The pay scale for this position is $41,00.00 to $51,000.00 annually. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Housekeeper Supervisor!
