This position is responsible for ensuring that the patient and family apartments are cleaned and sanitized. The incumbent deep cleans the entire apartment ensuring that all surfaces, fabrics, and ventilation system are disinfected. The incumbent is also responsible for helping with the laundry, reporting maintenance issues, cleaning common areas, and performing apartment inventory. This position has no responsibility for providing patient care.

Responsibilities
- Cleans all furniture and draperies, including moving and vacuuming under all furniture.
- Cleans and sanitizes all appliances both inside and out.
- Cleans kitchen cabinets inside and out and removes all food items as necessary, except for condiments.
- Changes, cleans, and organizes all linens.
- Cleans and disinfects the entire bathroom including cabinets, mirrors, fixtures, and shower curtain and removes any items that were left behind by previous residents.
- Dusts all surfaces including heat registers, vents and radiators, then vacuums to remove all dust and debris.
- Prepares welcome basket of supplies for each new guest.
- Checks for and reports all maintenance needs.
- Cleans and disinfects all exterior doors including door frames and door tracks.
- Tests alarm clocks and remotes to ensure that they are working properly.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required
- One (1) year of experience cleaning apartment buildings, multiple single family homes, or the equivalency.
Preferred
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Four (4) years of experience in residential cleaning.
