Job Summary:
The ACE Night Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for all daily facets of operations at their assigned property. The Night Cleaning Supervisor will assist in recruiting and training personnel as requested by authorized local Hotel Management. The Night Cleaning Supervisor will adhere to and implement all policies and procedures of Ace Hospitality Service Group, Inc.. Adherence to all unique local hotel policies is also required. The Night Cleaning Supervisor is expected to work independently under the direction of the Ace Director of Operations, Hotel Department Management and Regional or Corporate/Headquarters Management.
Duties and Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
· Communicate with line personnel on a daily basis to provide guidance, support, training and leadership to ensure effective operations in their area of responsibility and to ensure the satisfaction of our internal and external customers. Ensure adherence to all hotel/corporate procedures and policies is occurring on a daily basis. Propose for adoption any policies or procedures which would improve our lawful effective personnel management.
· Communicate with regional and corporate management effectively on a daily basis. A daily report is required to be submitted in written form. These standard elements include, but are not limited to: Location, Meetings with Hotel Partners and description, Meetings with Employees and description, Important Events occurring at assigned location, Ideas for Improvement (If Any), Thoughts, Concerns and Questions (If Any).
· Inspect work areas multiple times on a daily basis. Assist the night cleaning team in the completion of their daily assignments.
· Take part in or assign special projects to be completed in a timely manner.
· Develop a schedule of services and projects to ensure the projects are completed routinely instead of after a request by our Hotel Partners. (Proactive scheduling.)
· Ensure all areas of the Janitorial Specifications (Contract Terms) are clean and ready for inspection at the completion of each shift.
· Maintain call list. Call in extra or replacement staff if needed.
· Implements, controls and ensures the proper hiring, training and termination of all personnel. Control Human Resources functions on a local level, adhering to proper documentation policies and provide new employee orientation.
· Conduct employee meetings, from time to time, to discuss matters of common interest and take action if necessary. Monitor employee morale on a regular basis.
· Must always conduct and behave in a professional manner at all levels of the company and hotel partners/clients
· Must report any employee incidents to the Director of Operations or Human Resources Team and provide any information needed
· Interface with hotel department managers to ensure all areas of responsibility are properly cleaned and maintained.
· Attend a weekly walkthrough with required hotel department managers.
· Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 pounds.
· Must keep control of budgeted hours
· Must be able to counsel/approach employees in a professional manner and tactfulness
· Responsible for protecting company assets
· Maintain safety programs to ensure the safety of employees, their fellow employees and guests of the hotel. Ensure training in these areas is regularly reinforced and proper training records are kept at the local and corporate office.
· Provide training and development programs to assist in the growth of personnel within our organization.
· Submit all required and requested report or other work to Director of Operations
· Continually see to enhance the manner in which we do business. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and implement any applicable programs, strategies, etc. to improve the effectiveness of the operation.
· Process, review, and approve employee’s time and attendance(payroll)
· Recruit new employees as needed and send electronic onboarding to new hires
· Assist with setting up employees with isolved (clock in/out) system
· Responsible for checking company emails on a daily basis
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management Team
Qualifications:
