Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner (contractor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring that every area meets our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to commute and travel within Austin and surrounding cities.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and laundering linens.
- Maintain cleanliness in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during each cleaning session.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks performed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in residential cleaning and commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including sanitizing methods and floor care procedures.
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Capability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member when needed.
