Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including commercial spaces and hospitals. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants and visitors.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Execute floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a pristine environment.
- Conduct custodial duties such as dusting, window washing, and restroom sanitation.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist in the training of new staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the environmental services team to uphold high standards of cleanliness across all facilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospital cleaning protocols or environmental services is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and floor care methods is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
