This position is a pooled position. Immediate opening might not be available. Position will be filled based upon need of department.
This position will perform a variety of duties in the care and cleaning of Residential Living facilities. Duties include physically challenging activities such as moving furniture, operating heavy cleaning equipment, carrying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, walls, windows and light fixtures, minor maintenance and other related tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required For This Position
The ability to follow written and verbal instruction; the ability to perform medium to heavy physical work; the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and the ability to work effectively with others.
Minimum Qualifications
Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred.
