Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain surfaces in optimal condition.
- Execute custodial tasks in both residential and commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises.
- Handle industrial cleaning responsibilities, which may include the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and address any specific client needs.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as porter or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for extended periods or lifting moderate weights.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
