JOB TITLE: CLEANING TECHNICIAN
REPORTS TO: Night Operations Manager
PT Evenings - Saratoga, NY

JOB PURPOSE: The basic function of the cleaning technician is to work either independently or in a team to perform daily cleaning duties in accordance with the specifications provided by DCS.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for completing cleaning projects to DCS satisfaction
- Responsible for taking inventory of supplies and reporting deficiencies to supervisor
- Promptly correct any client complaints and address any issues noted by management
- Learn and perform floor care cleaning tasks as necessary
- Clock in and out properly
- Opportunity for more hours by filling in for absent employees, occasionally work an extended shift
- Notify supervisor of any issues experienced, be an outstanding communicator
- Trained in all of the above by supervisor
- Follow directives given by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 1 year of demonstrated experience in the cleaning industry or related field.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including:
- Working knowledge of Spanish is desirable, but not required.
- The use of analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised, supervise others, follow company policy, interact with employees and clients, and schedule work in stressful situations.
Working conditions:
- Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, adaptability and resilience in a wide variety of work situations.
- Customer service may include interacting with challenging clients and tight deadlines.
- General office environment, with low to medium noise, low to medium heat and cold, and low to medium dust levels.
- May be exposed to high dust, heat and noise levels when visiting field job sites and/or client locations.
- Occasional emergency calls after hours, holidays and on weekends.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
