Position Summary: Responsible for overall housekeeping duties of the interior and exterior of the center. Report all necessary maintenance to Facilities Manager. Initiate all purchase requisitions to maintain an adequate inventory of housekeeping supplies. Monitor security of Center.
Role and Responsibility
- Empty all waste receptacles. Clean and stock all restrooms on a daily basis (paper towels, toilet tissue, and soap).
- Stock all exam rooms daily (paper towels, soap).
- Monitor the Center to ensure a clean and professional environment, both on the interior and the exterior of the Center.
- Clean any spills and accidents, as necessary, promptly and efficiently.
- Keep windows and glass clean on a daily basis.
- Develop and maintain a weekly schedule for dusting, to include all offices, A/C vents, Returns and windows.
- Keep trash and debris picked up from around exterior grounds of Center.
- Check and monitors A/C filters handlers for unrestricted air flow and acoustic ceiling tiles for signs of roof or A/C leaks.
- Assess Center for all necessary repairs and advise the Facility Manager or Assistant Director of Purchasing/Facilities
- Adhere to company’s monthly cleaning schedule, i.e., wash plants, trash receptacles, etc.
- Perform on‐going maintenance to facility to include: replacing light bulbs, minor painting, and any special projects as related to skill level.
- Pressure clean building, as needed.
- Ensure sprinkler system is functioning and maintained.
- Toilet, sink, faucet repairs and replacements.
- Plumbing and snaking sewer systems.
- Ballast, lighting, repairs and replacements
- Repair or replace emergency and exit lights
- Maintain and perform floor care to include stripping and waxing, as needed.
- Assess Center for all necessary repairs and advise the Facility Manager or Assistant Director of Purchasing/Facilities
Additional Duties
- Collaborate with Safety Officer to ensure Center meets OSHA safety standards.
- Monitor A/C controls and adjust according to policy.
- Ensure all timers are set accurately, i.e., lights, water heater, etc.
- Prepare requisitions for all cleaning supplies for approval by the Facility Manager or Assistant Director of Purchasing/Facilities prior to stock depleting.
- Monitor all entry doors and ensures back and side doors are locked and closed at all times.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be able to read and right in English
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable and accessible transportation
