Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and healthy space for both employees and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
