Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the leasing office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and common areas according to a designated schedule.
- Prepare vacant apartment units for showings and incoming residents.
- Communicate any maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and supply control.
- Uphold the overall curb appeal of the property.
- Ensure common areas are tidy and well-organized.
- Perform necessary preventive maintenance tasks.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as needed.
- Participate in apartment make-ready processes, including trash removal, appliance checks, and other necessary preparations.
Required Skills
- Proficient knowledge of safe practices regarding cleaning agents and equipment.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities with colleagues, residents, and vendors.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
